UDON is a recent noodle bar & restaurant chain in Barcelona. Except the UDON bar in L'Illa shopping mall all the other options are suggested. They have more or less the same quality which is not bad which is approved by native Japanese friends also but don't expect to eat what you can eat in Japan. In L'Illa it might become a burden finding a spot to eat especially during lunch time.

Fragments Cafe is a nice coffee place in the charming plaza de la Concòrdia which is not so far from L'Illa shopping mall and nearly touching to Avenida Diagonal.
They have a garden in the backyard and also a terrace looking to the plaza. You can try a vermut or glass of wine. It is ok.
